Before you start:

We are pleased that you want to apply for a voluntary service with Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste (ASF) / Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP).

Please take your time for the completion of the application form. You can take a look at it before filling it in. You find the different pages in the header. Fields marked with a red star are compulsory. The form can only be submitted once all compulsory fields have been completed.

The form can be saved mid-completion. We still recommend that you have all attachments to upload on page 8 to hand before you complete the form:

• a tabular CV in word of PDF format,
• a detailed narrative CV in word or PDF format,
• a digital passport photograph in JPG format,
• a declaration of consent signed by your parent or guardian, if, at the point of application, you are not yet 18,
• if you need to apply for a visa for your voluntary service: a copy of your passport in PDF or JPG.
  

Please also keep the contact details for your emergency contact to hand. These details are entered on page 2.

Please note: Once you have saved your application, you may not change your e-mail address. You can change other details and documents in your application before you send it off.

This form stores only Latin characters. Please do not use any special characters, but internationally used characters.

This application will take time and effort. We do not just ask for your name and address. Your application helps us to find out more about you: Where are you from? What skills do you have? What are your interests? What is your background? What do you want to do? This information helps us in the preparation for a possible interview and in our search for a suitable placement for you. We feel an obligation towards our volunteers and our partner organizations to run a responsible selection process and thereby enable good cooperation.

After submitting your application you will be shown a link to open your application as a PDF file. Print out your application or save it as a PDF so that you will still be able to see what you have written to us in a few months time.

To be able to process you application for a voluntary service, we need your personal data. Without this data we cannot process your application. Data protection is important to us. We only process your data as is legally allowed and treat it confidentially.
